Oatmeal: A Must Habit

Oatmeal is a quick, healthy and easy breakfast you can prepare and eat in your mornings. You may try it hot or cold and combined it with whatever you want. Why should you add oats to your daily diet? Oats are a great source of important vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Due to their beneficial health effects, such as lowering blood sugar and cholesterol levels, oats have gained considerable interest as a health food. One serving of oats (30 gr) contains 117 calories (66% carbohydrates, 17% protein, 7% fat and 11% fiber) which is a very well-balanced nutritional composition.
A steaming bowl of fresh cooked oatmeal is the perfect way to start off your day, we selected the best recipes for you to be inspired:


1 ) Banana-Nut Oatmeal
1 cup water
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 ripe banana
pinch of cinnamon
smashed walnuts

2) Overnight Oats With Chia Seeds and Fresh Berries
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup rolled oats
½ cup of berries
pinch of cinnamon
1 teaspoon chia seeds


You hear overnight oats and you image something difficult to make. Actually is so easy just put all the ingredients in a jar or cup and let them in the fridge all night. Voilà the next morning you have a nice healthy jar of overnight oats.

3) Lemon and Kiwi oatmeal

1 cup milk of choice, or water
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 ripe banana
juice of one lemon or 1 tsp lemon extract
1 kiwi, peeled and diced

4) Strawberry Oatmeal
1 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup rolled oats
4-5 Strawberries
1 to 2 tablespoons dark-brown sugar
1 tablespoon sour cream

5) Chocolate peanut butter oatmeal
⅓ cup rolled oats
1 medium ripe banana, mashed
⅓ cup almond milk
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 tablespoon dark chocolate chunks
1 tablespoon peanuts, chopped
