All about coconuts. As a team this fruit has a special place in our hearts & bellys, let’s start. Coconut is a mature fruit of the cocos nucifera palm. I believe that most people love the taste and the smell of a coconut. It’s a “calming” taste. When I hear the word coconut, I don’t know why but I’ve always bring this image to my mind. Deep blue seas, tall big palms and a natural summer breeze.Coconut is a highly nutritious and rich in fibre fruit. It has a variety of great vitamins for humans. Like vitamin C, a water-soluble vitamin and powerful antioxidant that helps the body form and maintain connective tissues. Vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant that helps protect cell membranes against damage caused by free radicals and prevents the oxidation of LDL cholesterol. And more, like vitamins B1, B3, B5 and B6. It also contains minerals including iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorous which are widely known about the healthy benefits that they give to humans. The major defense about coconut WATER & coconut MILK. Coconut water on the one side is found in the cavity of a coconut. When you manage to open a coconut you see on the inside a clear, colorless yummy water. This contains low levels of sugar, fiber, proteins, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals as we mentioned earlier. Coconut milk on the other side is extracted from the white part of the coconut. Is high in fat, but it is cholesterol-free so it’s good fat for the body. Coconut milk also has a big advantage over cow milk that is lactose-free and can be a perfect alternative for people pursuing a lactose-free or non-dairy diet.
