Breakfast is a ritual for me. I really love waking up in the morning and make a good breakfast for me and my family but I’m a weirdo. People nowadays don’t have so much plenty time to wake up, make breakfast and sit on the table read their newspaper while eating a bowl of oatmeal. People are always on a hurry, especially in the morning. Unfortunately breakfast is so important and I believe that you are tired of hearing that is the most important meal of the day an blahblahblah. But it’s true that breakfast gives you fluid to continue your day with energy and not get too hungry during the rest of the day. Here are some quick & easy breakfast ideas you should try.
1) Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

Americans love this combination that includes a layer of peanut butter & jam on bread. In other countries this kind of sandwich is not so common but you should definitely try it! Prefer whole grain bread because it gives you more fiber than white and combined it with a glass of orange juice. Such an energetic way to start your day!
2) Tahini & Honey Sandwich

That’s the greek way of P&J sandwich. Tahini which is an oily paste made from sesame seeds is full with good vitamins and minerals. You can spread 1-2 teaspoons to a slice of bread or a cracker and add the same amount of honey. Combined it with a cup of milk and you will make a breakfast energy bomb.
3) Oatmeal & Fruits

You all know about oats: whole-grain cereal that are a very good source of fiber, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. You can use them in many recipes and the most common is oatmeal. Oatmeal is baked oats with milk or water. Try 3/4 cup of oats with 3/4 cup of milk (or water). Boil water at first and when it’s ready turn the heat to low, add oats, cook them until the water is just absorbed, about 5 minutes. Add cinnamon, cranberries, raspberries, apple or whatever you want. You can play with lots of combinations when you have a base with oatmeal. My favorite option is oatmeal with apple and cinnamon classic and so tasty!
4) Pancake with Oats & Egg Whites

This is a very fast,simple and easy recipe, you will need: 3 big tablespoons of oats 2 egg whites Little milk 1 smashed banana (optional) 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon Mix all the ingredients well together, cook up your pancake for about a minute in a small pan and it’s ready. Try it with 2 tablespoons of yogurt,some fruits of your preferences and little honey. Healthy and yummy, it will make you feel saturated through the day.

For someone who wants a salty breakfast, the best choice is omelette.Use 2 whites and one whole egg, add some vegetables ( chopped peppers, mushrooms and onion) salt, cayenne pepper and in about 3′ it’s done. So easy and full of proteins that will fill you up. Combined it with an orange juice or a carrot juice, sooo good!
