Homemade masks for each type of hair
Do you want to fix problematic hair? There are a lot of products in the market, that can offer a variety of results, but I prefer homemade masks for two reasons. One is that, are pure – parabens free and you know exactly what you are using. The other is that they are easy to make, with just a few ingredients that can be found in everyone’s kitchen.
Let’s start:
For oily hair
• 1/4 to 1/2 yogurt (depends of the length of your hair )
•a teaspoon of baking soda
• 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
You mix all the ingredients together and you apply it on your scalp, leave it there for about 20 minutes. After that period of time, wash your hair to remove it and then do your daily washing routine with shampoo and/or conditioner. Warning, this mask can dry your oily hair because of the baking soda, so don’t use it more than once in a week.
For dry hair
•1 nice and ripped avocado
•2 tablespoons of olive oil
•1 tablespoon of honey
This homemade mask will soothe and hydrate the scalp of your dry hair. Just mix well all the ingredients together and apply it to your hair, leave it for about 30 minutes, then remove it with water and you will automatically see the difference to your hair.
For normal hair
•a cup of milk
•2 big tablespoons of honey
Normal hair don’t need much. This mask can be used by any type of hair. Mix a cup of milk with 2 tablespoons of honey (I usually heat the milk a little, in order to melt the honey better) and apply it all over your head, leave it for an hour and then wash it. This wonderful mask will make your hair look healthy and shiny.
Good luck,
